  • Noisy Pub

Hi all, my name is Jim, and my tale is not quite as harrowing as some I've read on here. about five years ago the local pub applied for a music licence and a group of neighbours and my wife and me objected to the application because the noise had been so bad in the past.

SOMEHOW I POSTED THIS BEFORE IT WAS READY, BUT THE FULL POST IS ON NOW. :-)

    Welcome to the forum Jim

    Good to have you here.

Noise is such an affecting thing isn't it into all areas of our lives, I bet it's hard for you to have to live with still?

What times does the pub play music from and to? Is it regularly or just on 'special' occasions etc?

How do you and your family/neighbours manage with this now, are you still trying to fight the licence/permission?

    Sorry about all the questions

    Come back often

      Hi Jim,

so I take it the pub got the permission?

Noise that you can not control is really horrible and can be damaging

both to your actual ears, and to your mental health.

Please can you tell us a little more about your story and we will see if we can help at all. You will get lots of support here as we all know where you are coming from.
