  • Access Stairs

    Dear All

FYI, neither Councillor could help - but did say Council Enforcement could not get involved, as the property is privately owned. Neither could direct me to someone who could advise who actually owned the access stairs. But both were agreed that, as it is marked access on my deeds, said access stairs could not be moved.

And the letter to NFH from my solicitor yesterday, has put NFH on notice not to attempt to alter any structure without my written consent. This is a start!

Who can tell me who owns the damned access stairs???? I can find no mention o fit in my property deeds - and neither has my solicitor. Property was built in 1905, but stairs are on the deeds. What frustration!!!!

    Best regards, Lisa

Hi Lisa - I can feel your frustration on this one.

There are only two possible suggestions I can make for you to try next:

    - the Land Registry

    - your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Sorry I can't be of more help on this.
