They subdued him using a Tasar gun. Apparently he was wearing a rucksack in the early hours when he was arrested. He was taken to Paddington Green maximum security police station.
A suspect device (or devices) is being dealt with by bomb disposal officers and many homes in Hay Mills, Birmingham, have been evacuated. Estimates of how long the residents will be kept out of the area range from two hours to two days.
Three other men in the city were arrested, they are being interviewed locally.
I heard one of them at least was on his way to Kings Cross Station :cry:
I heard that the area has been cornered off and the bomb squad have been called in! I hope another bomb doesn't go off and kill anyone else :cry:

At least things went to plan this time, the suspects stopped from harming people, and no one killed.

I hope the police have got the right people and through the book at them. We must send out the message that we simply won't tolerate terrorism of any kind.
I hope (if they have got the right people) that they get life inprisonment without bail or any chance of appeal.

Three women have being arrested in south london, suspected of harbouring the bombers.
The U S guy has said that our police found 16 bombs in the car they found. Dont know how much of that is true, but our lot has not denied it yet.
One of our security guys that arrested the guy, that got zapped with the tazer gun, said he was glad he was not harmed. Because of the shooting of the innocent guy, and they could get imfo off him.
