It's 1.20am Sunday morning....I can't get to sleep and had an attack of the munchies. Somehow it would appear that I've scoffed 2 packs of mini swiss rolls. We were supposed to be having them tomorrow for tea (after our sandwiches). Mr DG and the kids will notice that they are missing and I'm going to be in so much trouble!
I need ideas and advice!!!
* Where do I hide the wrappers?
* How can I replace them when Tesco's is miles away?
* Would it be too cruel to blame it all on Fatty Arbuckle (our dog??)
* Why oh why can't I just eat one or two mini swiss rolls instead of 2 packs?
I am a bad, terrible person and I hang my head in shame......
hi dg
bless you dear but sometimes it just has to be done hide the wrappers in the bottom of a bin maybe inside something else like a cardboard tube
tell the family you checked the mini rolls and they were just out of date and starting to mould so you will be complaining to tesco first thing monday
then make some more cakes problem solved!!!!
you can tell ive done the same before cant you the midnight munchies are the pits

i actually find it's best to deny all knowledge of missing food
Why oh why can't I just eat one or two mini swiss rolls instead of 2 packs?
because if you only ate a couple somebody would notice they were missing. if, however, you eat the whole lot and dispose of the evidence, you may be able to convince everybody else that they are mad and that there were no mini rolls to begin with
works for me

I'm with BM on this one!
Hide the evidence in a carrier bag and push to middle of the bin.
Deny all knowledge of having ever seen any mini-rolls.
Works everytime!!

Oh nuts, I've been rumbled!!!
Mr DG had thrown out an important letter and went through the bin and there was all the evidence!!!
I am now being mocked by my entire family...oh the shame!
hi dg
oh no thats awful rib mr dg back by telling him how silly he was to throw away such an important letter anyway
then tell him you shared with fatty arbuckle and didnt eat them all
you were so shaky you just kept dropping them on the floor so you did only actually eat two

But.....you could say you ate them for the good of the family...as it means that they won't have to eat them and get nasty cavaties in their teeth from all that sugar....
So in fact you've done them all a big favour by eatting them :D
