Hi everyone,

Whats best to clean the pvc frames with, they still have egg on and are mucky from the building work.

We just use very hot soapy water or a product like vanish oxy clean. Another thing we do is pressure wash them. Remember to close windows first though! :thumbs: We forgot once! - whoops

Hope you get them clean.

WD40 works well, make sure you don't get it on the glass though! It will also make them easier to clean next time.

The best thing is from £ shops or Yorkshire trading, it's called Astonish, and only costs 99p for a large tub :D

For UPVc get the tub that says hob cleaner, it's like a paste (trust me, I've tried it), use a damp cloth and put a bit on then just clean your UPVc, it gets everything off, black marks, bird muck, the whole lot, when we moved here the rain from the lead roof had left black marks all over our bay windowsill, and this stuff shifted it with no effort whatsoever :thumbs:
