Just heard about Richard passing away. My thoughts are with his partner and family.
C4 afternoons will never be the same without him and his ties & jackets on Countdown.
Hope there are plenty of people in heaven ready to play countdown with him.

He was a national treasure - so very British. What a sad loss, He was a lovely man.
he always came across as a nice person

My heart goes out to his family.
He was a true treasure and brightened up many peoples afternoons.
Will Countdown ever be the same without him.
