Saw in the paper today that a boy of 10 has been given an ASBO. He has now taken the title of "Youngest Offender" from the 11 yr old girl I mentioned before after just a week!
He along with his 12 yr old brother had been accused of:
taking pot shots at passers-by with an air rifle
throwing bottles at community safety wardens
hurling eggs at children and neighbours
throwing abuse at workmen
throwing bricks at buses - one of which smashed a window
launching stones & bricks from bridges overlooking motorways and dual carriageways
swinging a metal bar at a woman who challenged their gang.
They live with their mum, two brothers and two sisters in Wales. Their mum said "They are not angels - but they are not evil either. Often they have been picked on for something they have not done because they are brothers and it is not easy to identify them".
But the local councillor said "These boys have been an absolute nightmare and people deserve to live their lives in peace and quiet".
So congratulations to them both on their 1st ASBO! I expect their parents are really proud.
I can feel the card companies planning their next design now!!
You have a new ASBO - Congratulations!!
Well done on getting your ASBO!
You've joined a new gang and got an ASBO. Well done!!!
Good luck in court - hope it's just an ASBO!
