Some of you will know that I mainly get my books from asda (bargains at £3.73 ).
I sometimes get them from a book club that drops them off at work every so often. I have just found out that they also have a website to order online - what's even better is that you're not tied in in to buy a certain number of books with them. They have different offers on as well
The Book People (http://www.thebookpeople.co.uk/frameset.asp) :)
Where do you buy your books?

I've bought an item or two off them as well - worth a look. Didn't know they had a website too, off to look!
Sapph (also a big supermarket buyer! )
Anywhere and Everywhere! :)
Car boot sales, 2nd hand shops, Ebay (of course  ), plces such as WHSmith if it's something in particular, Tescos, Amazon..........
Car boot sales are one of the best places for me, found all sorts of bargain books there and some in as new condition, for as little as 5p
swap with people and mainly charity shops cheap books and you are helping out a cause :)
Charity shops, car boots, but mainly we buy 3 for 2 at Waterstone's. Also, Tesco and Asda.

Anywhere I can get them!!
Ebay, Amazon, charity shops, jumble sales, proper bookshops, Tescos......if I see one I fancy I tend to grab it. I cannot imagine myself not having my nose buried in a book!
Wow that Book Butler is a great link, cheers HN

 Excellent suggestions...I too have noticed that all of a sudden WHSmith have improved rather a lot... about time too!!!
I have bought books from The Book People as well, they are good, I love Amazon, always check with them to see their prices.
However, I do try to support small, local bookshops, they are under a lot of pressure from the big chains and it would be a tragedy to see them go under

I always try and get my books from charity shops...... I don't think I've paid full price for a book in a long time. If not I borrow them from friends.
I'm currently trying to read A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth. I've read An Equal Music by him as well, a brilliant book for lovers of classical music.
