Not high literature, but should be recommended reading for anyone suffering from noisy neighbours.

Maybe we could try and get the author on for a webchat thingy?

:D Blackpudd and I considered posting this through our NFH's door in the hope that they would read it and realise what utter misery NFHs can bring into peoples lives.
:nfh1:
thats a top idea pud :)
a little favor to ask......
we have a few, ok 2 books reviewed so far on the main web site, would you and Elle be prepared to write a review on this book please? we can add it in to the site and then we might be more likely to get some interest from Carol Anne Davis :)
here is the link for the review section so you can see how we have done it so far :) linky thingy here (http://www.nfh.org.uk/reviews/Literary/index.php)

Yes I've been trying to get hold of this.
Apparently WH Smith don't stock it anymore, but can order it. Would guess Waterstones etc would do the same.

There's an extract from "Noise Abatement" on the publisher's website...

The publishers are currently setting up an online bookshop but in the meantime you can still order the book from them. Amazon have currently got a 4 to 6 week wait for this book so it might be quicker going direct.
The Do Not Press website is worth a look in general - they've got loads of interesting titles that you don't always find elsewhere.

Most definitely an easy read, but when you're going through the nfh mill it has a certain truthful ring to it, and is all the better for seeing precisely where it's going to end up.
For any more little bits you'll just have to wait for my review... ;)

It does have an appallingly cringeworthy sex scene in it however

Just finished reading this and was shocked at the similarities between our life and this book.
The noise from the floorboards, the water pouring through the roof even the spastic colon. It was quite spooky really.
I read Mr Annoyed the section about how Kenny was done away with. He laughed and laughed and laughed...................................
We also felt like posting a copy of the book through his letter box. The Mr Annoyed pointed out that as him upstairs is a bit, well very, weird anyway we couldn't rule out that he won't be found in a similar state through his own doing!
The book is also a really good way of being able to explain to people just how much noisy neighbours take over your life....it's somehtins hard to put it into words but the book seems to be able to convey the message perfectly.
Thanks Pud!
