R & J are doing their Book Club again this year. I did read some from the one they did last year.
This is list of the 10 books (http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/R/richardandjudy/book_club/book_club.html). :)
I've almost finished The Time Traveler’s Wife (http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/R/richardandjudy/book_club/book_club_time.html), still not sure whether I'm enjoying it or not!
I think I'm going to get this one (http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/R/richardandjudy/book_club/book_club_sixth.html) next.
Anyone else reading any of these books?

:D hi holly
I havent read any off their current list yet, but from the old one I read 'PS I love you' by cecelia ahern, 'lucia Lucia' by Adriana Trigiani and star of the sea by joseph o'connor...
I thought PS I love you was just bog standard 'chicklit', really, but without the razor sharp humour you get in some of those types of books :)
Lucia Lucia was great! really enjoyed it!
and star of the sea was absolutely great, really atmospheric.
the trouble with these book clubs, is , i feel a bit stingy to buy the books, and would rather get them from the library, so that if i hate them, they can just go back!!!
i managed to get all the books from the library, but it took a bit of time before they got them in.
I like the sound of the one you are going to have a go at next, though...it sounds like it will be very gripping and tense. :)

Not read any of those but if you're looking for something different there are some reviews of good and bad books here... Legal Village Other Stuff Archive (http://www.legalvillage.co.uk/otherarchivemain.html)

Have a look in the supermarkets for the books!
I got The Time Traveler's Wife in ASDA for £3.73! ;)

I'm now reading The Sixth Lamentation and am enjoying it, another £3.73 ASDA bargain (I'm sure other supermarkets have the offers too! ;)).
It was a  from me on The Time Travelers Wife - it was a bit all over the place, good emotions in it, but apart from that a thumbs down from me.

I think I will definitely have a read of the Sixth Lamentation, and its a particularly apt one, given the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Sounds good.
That is so cheap from Asda, as well...are they selling all the R&J book club selection in there?
I've just fionished the Time Travelers Wife, to be honest I couldn't get into it :( and I didn't really enjoy it
But I'd got it from the library so at least it didn't cost me anything

I think there are some other R&J Book Club books at ASDA - can't remember which ones though!
Again, I have only just stumbled on this thread, have read The Time Traveller's Wife and it took me a while to get into it, but I really enjoyed it and din't want to finish it????? I know it sounds weird as when I started it I thought I might not like this one, but hey!
I am going to look at R & J's list.
I have read PS I Love You, liked that one too.
Just had a quick look at the list; Hubby bought Cloud Atlas but am not that interested, maybe I'll read it but it doesn't appeal to me yet.
None of the others do at the minute, but maybe.........
