i think my cat (Milky) has flu, not only that, i also think hes given it to the oldest (Peanut) and the youngest (Mr Bean) of the others
they are all vaccinated but they'll probably all need antibiotics  one of the older cats (Jack) is a carrier so Milky has probably caught it from him.
i'm really hoping that the vet isn't going to charge me an individual consultation fee for each cat  . so can i have vibes for the cats and vibes for my pocket please?

Senidng lots of positive thoughts your way BM :clover:

Lots of love to you and all the cats :flowers:

(our vet is good, we get one consulting fee, then if you bring in any extra animals, its £2.50 per animal)

thanks guys :D there are 3 vets at my surgery and 2 of them are very good when it comes to things like that. the third partner, though, seems as though he is just in it for the money. you get a feel for people dont you? if that vet is on today then i'll probably wait until tomorrow, Milky is breathing through his nose today and his eyes have dried up a bit, (i had antibiotics for Peanuts gums so they have been sharing them since yesterday ;) ). actually, Peanut seems better this morning but Mr Bean now has runny eyes. if any of them get any worse i'll take them whatever. maybe all those vibes were working overnight

Dearest BM

Am sending love vibes to you and your feline friends. Most vets allow you to pay in installments is necessary. Ask if yours does, it might make the bill easier to swallow

well, rang the vets this morning and it was the vet that i'm not keen on so i made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. the receptionist lives in my street and i'm very well known at the vets, i think i'm their best client :hihi: so they said i can go in first thing in the morning if i need to, the vet is usually there 1/2 hour before surgery and its my favourite vet tomorrow. . he's a very softly spoken man who just cant help kissing cats when he's finished examining, its ever so sweet, its like he's compelled to do it. he'll be stroking the cat between the ears and then he kisses the top of their head  aaaaah, he's done it to every one of mine so i imagine he does it to all of them

anyway, i think i was maybe just flapping (as you do  ), Milky is much better this evening and i think Peanut and Mr Bean just happened to sneeze while i was worring because they are both fine  . so it may be that i don't need to go to the vets after all.
Either that or there are some very powerful people here :notworthy:

 great BM!

You know we are good at vibes here!! :lmao:

I was always under the impression that cat flu = instant death, but it is very successfully treated really, isn't it ? (see I learned this from watching 'Animal Park' where an elderly tiger got it - she was so poorly  but pulled through :D ) .

I hope your cats are well on their way to recovery and no doubt will be spolied rotten ;)

Too right!! Look at what happened to me - taxi driver from heaven, empty surgery so seen straight away, all the staff fawning over his furriness, the best behaviour I have EVER seen from him...

The power of NFHiB is awesome.

:notworthy:

Hope they are really well tomorrow mornng and over their snuffles.

(I always have to kiss cats too)

mazza, (i saw that episode) its one of those things you think is awful and actually isn't. Jack had it when he was about 5 months old and i panicked, like you say cat flu = instant death. it can be fatal in very young kittens but i think its more to do with the mouth ulcers that can come with it, it only takes a day or so for dehydration to kill a kitten. i must admit i did panic yesterday  but i think that was to do with losing so many pets last year

cinders, me too
