Who remembers Bewitched?!

I used to enjoy watching this as a TV Series, good clean fun, with a very nice witch with a wiggle! (nose, that is!). :)

We all remember the 60's show bewitched, Samantha the witch did that little wiggle with her nose and pow, a spell was cast, and her poor confused husband Darrin who just had to go with the flow!

Well it's going to be made in to a film with Nicole Kidman playing the lead role of Samantha Stephens and Will Ferrell will be playing the down trodden Darrin.

Shirley MacLaine is said to be playing the Mother, Endora, who I am sure you remember hated Darrin because he was a mortal.

Looking forward to seeing Nicole Kidman in the role, I think she'll be perfect! :thumbs:

Strange how you don't see the Original TV series anymore on Telly - even on SKY. Has anyone seen this lately? I'd love to watch it again! :D

Thanks HN - Amazon seem to have a Video of the Original Series of Bewitched (maybe one of the series, not sure from their info?).

Pity it doesn't seem to be on DVD yet. :)

Oh I used to love watching that show. :)

I think Nicole Kidman will be excellent as Tabitha. I thought she was very Tabitha-ish in Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock. Good film that. :thumbs:

Bewitched was fabulous, I adored Endora :D fabulous character, and dotty old Aunt Clara :rolleyes: and of course Samantha who always put things right eventually.

Used to be on Channel 4 on a morning if I remember rightly about 9am ish...

Please let them do a film of Mr Ed the talking horse next :hihi:

I used to catch the beginning before work (about half 8) on Channel 4, but they replaced it recently with Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond etc :(

Can't wait for the film!
