ASBO's are a hot issue in the UK and this sort of article seems to be popping up all over the place here. The statistics for actual ASBO's that have been successfully served are very bad but even the radio news boasts about the 2,500 orders as if they are a major success in the past year. It would be interesting if someone actually started publicising the number of complaints and victims there are in the UK so that the public can see how pathetic this figure actually is.
I understand that there is a burden of proof and procedures need to be put in place to protect the innocent from being branded as nfh, but still, it only takes a glance at this forum to see that more often than not, it can take an awful lot of effort to get the authorities to sit up and take notice. :(
Saying that, I am optimistic about the future and these are the first steps forward - I just wish things would move a bit quicker! :blush: :)
