Someone mentioned in the Hallowee'en thread that there was going to be a live Most Haunted at Pendle Hill. Did anyone see it? I didn't as Mr DG refuses to have it on when he's home as he think's it's all tosh. Did anything worth reporting happen?

Oooooooh yes!
Sunday was creepy. :o
They were in a farmhouse at the bottom of the hill, supposedly used as a sabbat site in 1600s.
anyhoo, apparently a group of 9 dodgy spirits were there and none too chuffed. Derek warned everyone too be on guard and soon the crew were passing out one by one.( some were carried out choking or unconcious) They were doing some glass divination, and the glass spun off the table and smashed into the wall, then the table snapped  It was stunning TV.
Last night, the other visiting medium (David Wells) was in a room on his own talking with a spirit( he could be seem on web cam though) and he went really weird and smashed the mirror he was holding over his head while screaming in anger. Claimed afterwards to remember nothing.
Even the sceptic bloke looked stunned and couldn't really explain what was going on.
Whether its real or not, I don't know, but it didn't look like they were all acting too me......but maybe I'm gullible
I was scared though :)

Oooh, crikey! Does sound good doesn't it! I wonder sometimes when Derek goes into his trances whether it's an act. I'm a sceptical believer.... I want to believe it, but I also want to logically explain things! Anyway, I'll have to wait for the repeats on FTN !
They often do a best bits repeat on a Sunday night on living :)

I've wondered about whether things are acted or exaggerated. I want to actually see something myself etc. But prefereably on TV not in person as I'm a graduate of the Scooby Doo School of Bravery. I'd be shrieking "Zoinks!" and legging it at full speed!!!
I watched it  At first I was really sceptical, but blimey, it had me on the edge of my seat on Halloween :o
Scary stuff, and if it is true, even more so

Have you noticed that everytime they actually "see" something, the camera is pointing the other way? Like the time they saw a bodyless pair of legs, and when they saw a man carrying chains in the theatre, we were watching THEM watching whatever!
And it puzzles me when they sit around in the dark, asking for a sign.... "make a noise"......... The first tap they hear they freak out! ....... or of course if the light goes off on the coffee machine. :bye:
