Hey there everyone! :D
I was talking to a young gentleman (11 or 12 years old) the other day, he's the son of a work colleague. Very pleasant, well mannered young chappie and we got into a big discussion about computer games and how brilliant they are, what they were like 25 years ago, how much they've changed, where it's going in the future, etc, etc. as you do  .
Anyhow, I told him I've played Resident Evil 3 something like 60 times or more  and asked if he found it hard to play. The response was "Naaaa! I've got a cheat thingie with all the codes. It was easy! :D " .
I said, "Don't you play the game at least once before trying out any cheats or guides?" and he looked at me like   and said "Why would I do that?!"
 It made me wonder about how things have changed (or have they? ) for the younger generation of today and how people perceive cheating, taking shortcuts or relying on the easy way out. Cheat books and magazines are common in the shops and libraries, it's become part of today's culture.
Is this all harmless or do you have reservations about how this has slipped into being 'normal' for everyone? What do you think?
