Almost posted this in Telly Talk, but probably more worthy of a mention here. :D
Did anyone see 'British Isles: A Natural History' with Alan Titchmarsh tonight on BBC1? Superb programme and very different in a lot of ways. Each week, at the end, the programme will feature your area too.
Fascinating stuff and some things you take for granted too. What a pity some human beings plunder what took millions of years for our planet to produce - it makes you realise how little space in time the human race actually occupy - it's tiny.
Well worth a watch each Weds, tune in. I'm guessing it'll probably be repeated on the SKY BBC Channels if you didn't catch it. :)
