I can only comment on the first two series as i didn't see the others...
but i think six feet under is probably the best tv prog i've seen...it is a bit on the dark side at times!!! and its definutly for grown ups ;)
Its about the members of a family who run a funeral home..the lovelife of each and the inevitable ups and downs, each episode has a person in need of a funeral, and things that surround that person.
There's a mum, a teenager, a son who runs the family business, a returning son who left because he didn't want to be part of the family business.
Each episode is filled with interesting things you can relate to about life, and shows aspects of all different types of ppl and things from their point of view, and can show why sometimes ppl end up doing what may not make sense to someone looking on the "outside" of that persons life.
I thought how it depicted the "mum" of the family was very interesting and movin, but then again i thought all of it was good :thumbs:
And i think it has very good streak of dark humour too, bit of everything.
The makers manage to construct the stories in what seems orignal ways... it has a good soundtrack as well :)
