Hello fellow Stargate Fan! :wow:

A follow up film? Oooh, that would be awesome! :notworthy:

I can't wait to see this series. :wow: I'd like to buy all of the Stargate series on DVD, we've missed quite a few of them unfortunately. :(

Thing is, I also want to buy all of the Star Trek DVD sets as well - which comes first? Star Trek of course! So Stargate sets will have to wait, but not forever.

mr I want to be a Klingon ribbit B)

Ribbit kapla kapla,

After my favourites the Klingons, the Andorians come a close second. My fella is busy collecting the Star Trek stuff so I can collect the Stargate stuff.

Is this the series that has just been on Sky? If so, its excellent!

You should look forward to the next stargate series and the "Atlantis" spin off series .. I know I am.

Comtrya! :clap2:

All at Moby Towers are absolutely head over heels about Stargate.** We've watched it right from the start.** It's the only thing we currently all sit down to watch together, and are gearing up for the start of season eight on Sky next month.

I was so down in the dumps when Michael Shanks left the series and thrilled to bits (understatement) when he came back.

Sad soul that I am I have the screen saver Daniel Jackson has on his SGC computer on my computer.**

Has anyone seen the spin off series Atlantis yet?** I sort of have it** ;)** but haven't got round to watching it yet, but I've heard good things.

Jaffa cakes all round.** ;)**

We were shocked when Michael Shanks left too so we're dying to know how things turn out in Season 7. We haven't even heard of an Atlantis series yet. Has it started on Sky yet? We don't have satelite  but we could always come to an arrangement about doing a house swap between Ribbit Towers and Moby Towers if need be. ;)

Hi GG, :)

It was on Channel 4 at 16:35. :(

Ah well, looks like we'll have to get the Stargate DVD's 1st after all ;) .

Oh Moby,

You'll probably think I'm daft, I can handle the stress of living next to the 2 numpty's from hell 7 days a week and have a fruitcake boss who lives in cloud numpty land. But I miss the first episode in my beloved Stargate's new series... well, oh dear, I was on a real downer yesterday. :(

Silly, don't you think? But then again, you know it's all real (don't you? ) and not just a TV program so you would probably understand. ;)

So Mr ribbit, if you're getting it all on DVD are you up for hosting the first NFHiB Stargate convention at Ribbit Towers?**** :)

moby :clown:

Brilliant idea, we'll supply the candyfloss and sticks of rock, you supply the ginger beer.

She wants me to get all the stuff to start our very own Ribbit Towers brewery.

I was on a bit of a downer myself yesterday.** Couldn't exactly pinpoint why but it probably had something to do with being woken by our NFH standing in his front garden talking about us.** He reckons he's been filming us doing things we shouldn't - I know we've not so that doesn't worry me, but he also reckons he's going to 'sort us out'.** I've no idea what he has up his sleeve so I found that a bit disconcerting and it played on my mind all day.** But enough of that pathetic idiot...Oh dear, :( I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish these numpty heads (numpty is todays word for me by the way) would just get a life! Hope your nfh is as innefective as ours are when it comes to 'sorting'. I also hope you are feeling less affected by 'He'-numpty today.

Do you follow the internet NORAD santa tracking thingy on Xmas Eve and think 'this is coming from the levels just above the Stargate'?** I do.** No, what's that :wow:?! Sounds VERY interesting. :wow: Tell me more about is please.

<!--QuoteBegin-moby@6th September 2004 - 4:24 PM
I'd be a right misery without having intrests like my sci-fi stuff to lose myself in.** Do you watch anything else?** I loved Babylon 5, and a couple of years back I stumbled across a TV prog that has only been shown here on the Sci-Fi Channel called The Sentinel which I have a bit of a giggle over - but then I am rather partial to blue eyed anthropologists.******

moby :clown:We really enjoy most things Sci-Fi and supernatural, but we are major Star Trek fans. Because we only have terrestrial TV (rather than extra-terrestrial  ), we don't see a lot of the programs that are available. Is The Sentinal about a guy who gets sent back in time to 'fix' problems? If it is, I've only seen it dubbed in French  and it looked like good fun. :)

I'm terrible, I could talk about sci-fi all day!

Hi again,

I have the magazine, the website is www.stargatedvd.co.uk. People with broadband have seen these episodes that are on now.

GG.

It's a very expensive way to collect the DVD's and information.

We started collecting the Star Trek collection years ago and stopped after a while. If we'd continued to collect them we would have spent over £600 by now  and this is without any videos or DVDs!!

I'm not saying I'd say no if someone left the entire collection to me   - crikey, I reckon I'd have a permanent smile on my face for 15 years :P , but I do think that realistically I'd rather spend the same money on buying the DVD collections, getting collectables and autographed memorabilia instead.

I can't wait to see this but I wonder how long it'll be before it's available on DVD or on Terrestrial TV.

Ah well, all good things to those that wait (I suppose). :) Or maybe we should just book a spot in Mobyville - two small frogs won't take up much space, honest! :P

Yes another Stargate fan..... is it spreading? do we need to be quarentined? Is Tilk immune? If there is a cure i don't want to know.

IT WAS BRILLIANT, I got my cuppa, magnum ice cream and ignored the world for an hour...bliss.

A new Movie!!!! who with?? the old film cast or the tv cast????

Havn't seen hide nor hair of Atlantis, but i too have heard great things. I have a friend with Sky who has promised to tape it for me when it starts.
