View Full Version : Lightning Cards Tournament...
I'm hooked on this tournament malarkey now... anyone fancy a game of cards with me?
I promise I've got nothing up my sleeves, I never bluff, and I always keep my hands on the table.

i looked at this game , how on earth do you play it?
once you get into to its good and a bit easier!
you have a pile of cards and so does the computor, there are 4 cards face up on the table between you
the idea is to get rid of all your cards before the pc beats you
the cards on the table have arrows next to them up arrows mean you have to put the next highest card on it down arrows mean lower
so if you have a 2 with an up you need to put a 3 on it, if it has a down you need to put a 1 on it
if you have a 1 with a down you need to put a 13 on it :)
and up from 13 is 1
wild cards you can put anything down
the red cards areswines because when they go down they change the direction of the arrows and you have to go the other way again :)
Lightening cards are worth more points only if you put it on top of another lightening card! then it makes a lightening/thunder noise!!
i hope this helps :clover:
It's gone awfully quiet hasn't it... come on you guys! It's like a DFS sale this is... this offer's only open for a limited period (until the next one, which will be just the same and probably cheaper  ).
ribbit (This is my poker face  :hihi: )
I might be tempted
I am a bit addictde to this game, keep trying to beat my own score, no where near certain people yet though!
just you wait till my next week off.....I will be playing all day and night long!

Did I hear "Lightning Cards?" count me in (but after the 13th, as I'm away on a scientific conference - oh yes, boffins unite!)
FF
Ok, we'll have it after the 13th... I'm in no hurry to win... erm, cough splutter, I mean play. :P :hihi:
yeah count me in then.....and get off my arm!
Just a couple more to go then...
If we don't get any volunteers what do you think about getting moby drunk and convincing her this is a Penguin Shot tournament?
We could pay them... I've got two shekkels and a bit of pink string in me piggy bank.
ribbit :curly:
You lot drive a hard bargain...
Four shekkels, a bit of string, and one of mr ribbit's socks (repaired)... and that's me final offer. :P
Ok, I'll throw in half a packet of hobnobs.
ribbit :curly:
I've heard reports of a conspiracy to get me inebriated. What are you lot up to?
We've heard about your party trick with half a cauliflower and a pair of false teeth... I'll provide the table and mr ribbit will help you up. :hihi:
Does it take much brain power? How many players have you got?
Six so far... two to go... I think
Brain power... no... nerves of steeeel... yup.
You have to get into it. Mr ribbit didn't want to know at first, but once he got going I couldn't get him to stop.
Still not enough! :P
A full packet of hobnobs, me last rolo, a whole ball of pink string, and half a cauliflower (when moby's finished with it :hihi: ). How's that?
ribbit :curly:
I just hope those hob nobs are chocolate ones.
Erm... well... They were chocolate ones... but mr ribbit got at them... and now they're not. They're a bit damp in places too.
Now then... one place left... HN, are you up for it if I throw in one more of mr ribbit's socks? Sorry, it's not a matching pair.

 how many humbugs was that, and just how many walnut whips, milk chocolate of course?
Just the one... and it's just been sucked again  .
Milk chocolate walnut whips of course... sat on last Christmas by aunty Maud. That was the year old uncle Albert lost his dentures in a poker game. Which reminds me... I can throw in a set of false teeth.
ribbit :curly:
Cor, thank goodness for that... I was just about to offer large amounts of hard cash and a bag full of diamonds. :P
Too late now though... mr ribbit's sent a PM off to Beth to get it all sorted out.
ribbit :P
