We watched the first series, but then I grew to hate it.

The plot became very samey - Demon appears, close shave, find a vanquishing potion, demon vanquished.
Lost interest when they introduced the 'love stories' with the various male human/demon/white lighter characters.
In the end, watching put my teeth on edge, and as my other half still likes it, I grew to hate having to watch it - eventually I gave up and now sulk in the kitchen watching another channel, or reading a book :)

Enjoy the show occasionally but missed the episode where Prue died. What happened to her??

She was killed by the sources assasign Shaks. She went through a wall and Leo couldn't save her but he saved Piper. There is a lot more to it but it is very complicated its easyer to watch it. Its over 2 episodes at the end of season 4.
