I've just heard on the television news that a RAPIST serving life in prison for his crimes was let out for the weekend on some pathetic home release scheme when he decided to pop into the local shop and buy a ticket for the lottery, yes you've guessed it his numbers came up and he has won £7MILLION . . . . . . . . . . . it's just not fair.

So much for karma, eh?

I have always believed that people who will do no good with the money win the lottery.

Maybe this is me being cynical but after hearing this story I can only believe that evil/bad people do best in the world.

The lottery is random.

Whilst we may not like the idea of someone like that winning £7 million, his chances were no more or less than the rest of us.

We don't like it because he has the money and we don't.

Remember he is serving life, so the money will be of little use to him for a very long time. Perhaps he will be rehabilitated enough eventually to do something good with the money?

I wouldn't mind betting that everyone in the prison is suddenly his "best mate".

Click this link (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3554008.stm) to read about it on the BBC website.

I can bet my last few pennies that he will NOT do any good with it...

It can't be that much use if he is serving a life sentence, surely? ;)

If he had a good bone in his body he'd donate the money to a rape counselling group or something... :)

I bet the victims are over the moon for this waste of tissue, ligaments and oxygen.

From his past record with all the attacks he has undertaken, I really doubt he will have any compassion to give money away to counselling charities.

Yep, it's true the world does seem unfair.
But if the law works it is supost to re-dress the balance, the trouble is, it rarely does. Infact how often does the law actually end up rubbing the victims nose in it? too often
IF there is any justice the poor victims should get compensation now which they would not have been able, if it was'nt for the lottery win.
As a foot note, with the kind of 'nice people' this animal lives with, I would not be surprised if he will be on the end of, and victim of a few extortion scams, perhaps worse

he is a cutie :)
and good high fence BTW!!

anyways....back to the matter in hand...this lottery win :)

apartently the victims lawyers are now suggesting that the victims sue him for a lot of money for the attacks/distress etc as he now has the money
and he has been moved from the bail hostel to a more secure unit for his own safety!
(saw it on sky news)

Hi

Ha ha ha that's a goodun . . . . . he was in a soft open prison, they were scared he would do a runner with his £7MILLION and that's why they put him in a maximum security prison (IMHO).

Regards Paul. :)

I hope and pray the poor victims can get claims in and paid before he can ever be released.
I fear he will only do harm with the money if he gets the chance.

I like your dog! He must be big headed if he has a website of his own!!

I cannot believe that somebody with the history of this sadistic evil [INSERT WORD HERE] is allowed to roam the streets.

It warms me to think that I could be walking around next to complete nutcases whilst out shopping etc!!

Unfortunately, as the victims will find out, because the crime occurred 6 years ago, they are outside the time limit for bringing a civil case against him (i.e. sueing him)

and as his picture has been in all the papers and all the newschannels...well there might be a tiny chance he gets recognised!

I dont think this win has done him any favours....in fact I feel it has made his life a lot harder
I dont know if I have any smypathy for him at all

Yep :D For anyone who wants to read more, have a look at the Law Commission's MAKING THE LAW ON CIVIL LIMITATION PERIODS SIMPLER AND FAIRER (http://www.lawcom.gov.uk/453.htm) about the Limitation Act 1980. :)

next bit of news on this one is....

his wife, who married him while he was in prison, who thought he was in for robbery, is going to sue him for half of it(her share as wife) and has said she is going to give all the money she gets to rape victims and rape charities!

I.ll believe her when she does it. Life in prison should mean punishment not prizes, and a extra kick in the teeth for the victims. I,ll never understand silly women that believe these storys, told from a jail cell. I don't think any body is that desperate for a man, or am I missing something? Maybe they want attention from the media? make a career move?

GG.

Cute dog P,

I very much doubt she didn't know what he was in for (the prison service would have told her for one) - funny how now that he's rich, she wants some cash - basic greed.

In all fairness...

I hope the fabric of space tears open and sucks him into it so that he is left floating in an empty nothingness for eternity... :hihi:
