I am one who has been lurking in the arcade. Rude of me not to introduce myself, I know, and I will try to post my story, I promise. (Tis tricky: you see, it’s likely that my enemies -- a bunch of antisocial kids -- also have Internet access.)

I am still finding my way around this site. It’s a long time since I’ve seen so many depressing stories gathered in one place. My sympathies to all. I’m fortunate in that I don’t have problems with my neighbours, and I’ll make a point of sending them an especially nice card this Christmas for I fear I have taken them for granted.

I am male, and live in the Midlands.
