mr bw is watching a program called a cook on the wild side on some cable channel and im shocked! this cook is cooking forhimself catching things in the wild in this country.
so far hes caught some squirrels and barbequed them, a pigeon and at the moment hes frying snails!
how vile.

i didnt notice. he chose some wild mushrooms and some chive (spose they are green) but i was too busy almost throwing up as he plucked the snails from their shells as you would a welk. it was vile, all this green slime came out.
also he said a few restaurants do sell squirrel but are too afraid to put squirrel down on the menu so call it something else. what they call it though i havent a clue.
poor tufty.
One of my neighbours raves about the delights of squirrel 8-X

Ahhhh, good old Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall!
He is actually one of my favourite cooks, not for his slightly off the wall cook on the wild side, but for his wonderful 'river cottage' series.
If you get a chance, try to watch them.

I rather like H F-W though like FF I prefer the River Cottage series. He's a great combination of interesting, unconventional and downright barmy.

I suppose it would be nice to be flexible enough to chew your toenails although I imagine that using clippers is considered more refined.
