A 78-year-old-woman described as the original 'neighbour from hell' has been convicted of breaching an order imposed after she threatened to kill her neighbour's baby.

The judge said: "I formed the plain view about you that you were a malicious and evil-minded old woman, determined to make the lives of your neighbours an utter misery.

I did wonder if the lady in question had been mentioned on these boards? ;)

Regarding the EOC... Why not ask her if she has a cousin in Wales? :hihi:

so why doesnt the daughter get her mum to keep away from the neighbours, if she believes they are obsessed with her? ooh they make me wild

i expect the psychiatric tests will show she is doolally and that it will be of no purpose putting her in prison, she will be let free to carry on as she has been...

If she is mentally ill, they'll perhaps consider placing her in an EMI care facilty where she can get looked after properly?

Problem is that genuine mental illness is often ignored in people by their families. They often say: "Oh, that's just old so-and-sos way. They do not mean anything by it."

Sad but true Neighboured, they closed a facility round here to be "cost-effective", and went for "Care in the Community" - people need more than that :(

Those that couldn't cope are in the local hospital which isn't right for them, the staff, or the people needing hospital beds.
