Our local Co-op has been closed and the lease has been given to Morrisons  However, the shop is being renovated and re-built and is not due to open until Christmas; they have also taken over the petrol station over the road - cannot wait because at last we have another shop that will be in direct competition with Tesco's which is about time as Tesco's has had the upper hand for food pricing and petrol prices in our town for many years here they dictate costs, Tesco's is very expensive in this "small market town" too expensive for me to do my weekly shop in!!!
So just recently I have started to do my food shopping online and have chosen ASDA to supply me as I was curious about their price guarantee. It also means that I do not have to go around each store doing a "price comparison" myself as it is done online!!!! When you log into their website and do the "price guarantee" online you are given a £5 e voucher which you can use when you spend over £40. To me that is a godsend as it means that £5 pays for the delivery therefore I am not using fuel to go to the store and delivery is "free" ;) savings all round which is what we all need.
Last weeks shop I was also given a voucher because Tesco were slightly cheaper that Asda on some of the products I ordered; the voucher was for ...... 0.27p  every little helps eh???!!!
All the while I am getting a £5 voucher then I shall use ASDA online
Does anyone else use ASDA and if yes have you had products cheaper than them and received vouchers?
