Has anyone else noticed this programme popping up everywhere and all over the place?

I saw it a few days ago and couldn't really work it out  My kids seemed to like it though  .

Then I started to remember all those really great quizzes that used to be on TV that were compulsive viewing...

3-2-1, Price is Right, Play Your Cards Right...even Sale of the Century (:hihi:) these used to herald the start of the weekend for me...but there's nothing to compare now :(.

I like a good quiz, but there just seems to be nothing to cater for this audience now - I think Who Wants to Be a Millionaire has lost its shine too now.

Coo, remember when the Generation Game was compulsory viewing on Saturday evenings...ok it was really stupid but it was still a laugh...

and Friday nights were sale of the century nights, and i loathed nicholas parsons...now i listen to him on 'just aminute' and think hes brilliant!

3 2 1 was great but could i ever get any of the clues???no way!

i dunno about that 24 hour quiz, i couldnt make head nor tail of it...has it finished then?

But, anybody remember Bernie the Bolt?

No :(

But I do remember when it was compulsory for any quiz show to be hosted by Bob Monkhouse

Bernie the Bolt??

See, now I've remembered Celebrity Squares (whoever was in the middle was always the funniest), Blankety Blank (with el Tel, not Paul O'Grady) :(

What's happened to those days?

I feel quite mournful now

:P :P
It was the GOLDEN SHOT!!! And guess who the host was...dear old Bob Monkhouse (god bless) was it on in the afternoons on sundays...i dunno why i think that...

I remember HN, when I was doing my english O level, there was a serialisation on BBC of Great Expectations which was one of my set texts...and I really wish they would repeat it...it was sooo excellent. and i do remember the narnia tales as well, cor why cant they repeat those as well? great stuff :D

Bullseye!!!

I liked it too - used to be on Sundays, early evening - the only thing worth watching at that time! I was so envious of the prizes - esp the ''his n' her'' bikes :hihi:

I know a lot of these things are on Challenge TV (for us digital types) but it just isn't the same

But Mazza, hardly anyone used to win them anyway!!

Never mind.....lets take a look at what you could have won! B)

 BC, it's true!

But Bullseye was surely not as tricky as Strike it Lucky...I really don't remember anyone winning that and Michael Barrymore was not one for being sympathetic to the hapless losers!
