Is anyone else out there watching Celebrity Fit Club????

I am quite enjoying it, strangely enough :rolleyes:

I really like Alison, who was on Big Brother, I hope she does well out of this. Afew of the celebs already look a lot better, especially James Whittaker and John Forgeham...and Freddie Starr is giving me a chuckle too, he's sooo silly :lol:

I keep missing Fit Club - and I notice they repeat it on ITV2 at a time that clashes with 'I'm a Celeb...' But I did catch a little of it the other day. It seems quite different to the other series they did - I like the idea of a team effort :thumbs: .

I will catch up with it after 'I'm a Celeb...' has finished I am sure :lol:

I heard that there was going to be a great big barney on this between John Forgeham and the American (?) lass (her name escapes me :blush: ).

I read that he was relly awful and that the producers had to threaten him with chucking him out of the series - he sounds really nasty.

I haven't seen all of this series, but I've seen bits of his behaviour in the past few programmes and I thought he was really obnoxious, intimidating and scarey.

What was it like then?? I'll see if i can catch a repeat on ITV2, but somehow it always seems to clash with soething else that OH wants to watch :sad: :) .

I shall bring you all up to date, there was a massive ding dong involving Amy Lame and john forgeham, but nearly everyone got dragged into it.

basically they were all in the gym and freddie and john were having to sit it out because of 'injuries'. they started taking the mickey out of amy who was on the cross trainer and eventually she said something to them about being skivers ...she wasnt being malicious or anything, just returning the banter...whereupon john goes right off the handle effing and blinding, going totally OTT and freddie was also joining in...amy was sticking up for herself and told john he was being a drama queen which made him even worse, so then he had the excuse to storm off in a girly huff...freddie stayed back to have a bit more of a go, and then lowrie and vanessa came along to stick up for amy...

anyway later on there was a bit where john said that amy was the way she was because she never gets sh***ed, and him and freddie said they hated her and freddie acted out stomping on her... :sad:

vanessa went to see john to ask him if he could find it in his heart to apologise, and he went ballistic at her, again for no good reason, ranting on 'if i want your opinion, i will ask for it' effing and blinding all the time...poor vanessa :(

and even at the actual weigh in they were still festering over it and john refused to apologise and was still being belligerent, and basically he got sacked from being the team captain, PLUS he managed to put on 2 pounds over the past three weeks, so whose the idiot in all of this? :P

i really objected to him, what a moron! :angry: and he is dragging freddie along with him and as my 7 year old daughter said ' so much for freddie being a comedian!' :lol:

poor old amy later had an asthma attack, maybe caused from the stress of it all, but harvey really helped her, so at least they have overcome their difficulties with each other!!! :thumbs:

you must all watch the repeat and see what you think...but i think that john forgeham had real bad attitudes towards women, and i think he is a nasty piece of work. :box: :box: :rant:

I didn't like him much anyway Annabel - now I just think he's a complete child :( And he's doing all of this on national TV - what a wally :rolleyes:

You will not be at all surprised to learn that indeed he is single, divorced from wife for a long time (due to drinking) has grown up kids who also think he acts like a kid.

What I don't get is why he's on the show??

It must be for exposure, as he's already lost loads of weight without a program like this, but who would want to work with him after this latest performance??

I know, I wonder how he gets any work with a temper like that. he is showing himself up badly...and also showing up freddie starr as well...i never thought he would collude with JF like that!

You know, I was wondering the same thing...I mean, he apparently doesn't give a stuff. I just don't understand what exactly he is getting out of all this and what his ultimate motive is.

I mean, if it's for exposure, it's pretty bad exposure - he's shown he can't work in a team and has no regard for rules or taking direction.

Blimey, it's a miracle he's even had any acting work at all :blink:

What has happened to this programme?

I haven't seen it anywhere for ages...I can't think that I would not have seen it on the TV listings, so does anyone know what's happened to it?

Can't seems to find repeats scheduled on ITV2 either...Have I missed some? The last I saw was that famous strop with John Forgeham... :(
