Makes me wonder, is there ANYWHERE that's completely silent?
On top of a mountain maybe? Nah, you'd get jumbo jets flying over :rolleyes:

It's quite difficult in the States to find a somewhat quiet residence within reason of expenses ..it must be exceedingly difficult there. It just gets worse because of all the ways people can make noise now.
I go to a library to escape and that isn't even a quiet place anymore with all the ringtones of cellphones going off !

:( That is really annoying HN! Remember when libraries used to have a big SILENCE sign up, and if you made a sound anything above a whisper, a fierce librarian would say sssssshhhhhhhhhh?
