Hello,

My name is Sitala. I am a journalist working for the BBC News website.

Staffordshire Police has sent me a press release which states: "Since 1 April this year there have been 4,839 fewer incidents of ASB reported, compared to the same period in 2009. "

In order to provide some balance, I was wondering whether anyone could help me get in touch with Mend Britain or one of your members who could give me your view on anti-social behaviour in Staffordshire. Does the experience match the police statistics?

I plan to write the story today (20 Sept) and will update the story if I get any replies.

Many thanks,

Mathew- I cannt take my eyes off that hippo!!!!!!!! what a wierd person you are to choose that mesmerising hippo-lol

regards the stafforshire thing- i expect this bbc journalist is onto something else by now- these bbc people tend to wok like wild fire

i would say that the statistics are nothing to go by- some incidents dont get reported and some do- some get written down as crime- some wrongly get written down as civil dispute (a neighbour verbally abusing you for no reason is not a dispute- a dispute over what?)

some dont get logged at all
until anti social behaviour is taken very seriously it wont get recorded and monitorded properly
