I went and took the plunge last week and I joined the local gym :sport:
I have one of the 'Gladiators' husbands for an instructor...so you will see me on the show soon (not) :hihi:
Just thought I'd get rid of a few pounds so that I didn't look like a beached whale in the summer :hihi:  :hihi: Had a good time there today, didn't want to come home, but I bet I'll feel it in the morning
:wow:
OOOhh Tri, good for you!!
It's great when your expectations are exceeded and you don't want to go home :D .
I joined a gym once, don't think I did it right though...didn't lose one bit of weight and felt blimmin awful for weeks. Wondered how long it'd take to feel better, but never did :o
Then I found out why - baby no 3 on the way :o !!
Never been back since :( :hihi:
I will go back...one day! :)
I love your Disco Diva ball!!

Man Never Misses Trip To Gym For 5 Years
July 29, 2002 - Florida, USA
In an attempt to force himself into a healthy routine of exercise, a Florida man hired a hit man to kill him if he failed to show up to any of his 3 weekly workouts for the past 5 years. "At first I thought the ridiculous membership fees and that ludicrous up front joining fee would make me workout so I wouldn't waste the money - but that didn't work. Within weeks I was coming up with all sorts of lame pathetic excuses not to go. So I decided that if money wouldn't promote me to go, losing my life would. The hit man idea has worked like a charm, maybe even too good. There were some times that I truly would have preferred not to go, like that time I had bronchial asthmatic pneumonia. I've never had so much dark green mucus running down my face in my life, you should have seen that treadmill afterwards. But with all its ups and downs, my only complaint lately is that what I originally thought were expensive gym fees have been over shadowed by the high cost of the hit man. Now that I want to stop, I can't because I told him to shoot me if I told him I wanted to give up."
 :hihi:

:D :P
what a wally!!!! i bet he is stick thin now and wasting away!!hee hee
I have a very expensive gym membership and therefore i try to go as much as i can. its not that easy though when you have a kid and a husband who works shifts!!!
but when i do go i really love it, the swimming pool is so nice and there is a lovely steam room and a sauna.....
i think it has to become part of your way of life otherwise it ends up just being a waste of money and a disappointment. i even have a personal trainer type person who actually looks for me to find out what i have been doing!!! :wow: . so i usually scurry in and hide behind the pillars so he cant spot me
