We have just been to see the 25th Anniversary of the show Les Miserables at a theatre in Norwich -
John Owen-Jones to star as 'Jean Valjean', Earl Carpenter as 'Javert' and Gareth Gates as 'Marius' in exciting new 25th anniversary production...
http://www.lesmis.com/?gclid=CMfvwYT_j6ACFZBb4wod0V2AdgIt was fantastic, it does have a couple of changes in the show one is at the beginning a different scene where Jean ValJean is one of the convicts on a ship.

Mr O hadn't seen it before and did not expect the set to be "dimmed and dark" most of the time  but saying that he did enjoy the story and the songs. Gareth Gates was absolutely fantastic his voice is superb; I think that theatre suits him really well :)

If you get the chance to see this special 25th Anniversary show and you like Les Mis do go; it's too good to miss

25 years? I didn't realise that. We are off to see it in Edinburgh in May. I saw it about 15 years ago, but hubby has never seen it. Looking forward to it :)
