Allergic reaction?

Hello

I got up today and washed my hands. When I went downstairs I noticed my hands felt really rough. When I looked I had tiny pimples all over them. The pimples are all over my palms and beginning to creep round onto my fingers.

I haven't used any different products on my hands over the last few days that I can think of.

I have taken an Anti Histamine tablet and rubbed some Hc45 on them. They get worse if I put them in water or wash up etc.

Any ideas?? Could it be stress related?

I am not on any medication at the moment except for a chemical which is put into my bladder so it doesn't touch my skin.

The pimples literally just appeared after washing my hands!! :eek:

Perhaps a trip to the docs sounds to me like pustual psorisios (not sure of the spelling here) are they like small blisters and do they itch? It could be that or something along those lines, I got that after my Dad died and it is brought on by stress and shock.

Try Dead Sea stuff, e.g. bath or handcream anything with dead sea salt in it, brillent stuff for all skin problems also Aquarious Cream or E45, but the dead sea salt is deffo the best.

Yes they are a bit itchy, but more sore then anything. They are still there! Some of them are clear others red. They actually look like little warts. They were not there one minute, then they were! Strange

Am still rubbing the Hc45 in and will take another anti histamine later. I have the Doctors on Monday so will ask her then if they are still there.

Sounds very much like prickly heat which can be brought on by stress ( not just hot weather).

I get it on my hands and neck from time to time and use E45 and Clarityn. Hope it clears up soon :)

I still have it but it does not appear to be spreading anymore. My hands are tingling too. Great another health issue bought on by the prat next door!

Do try the Dead Sea stuff can't praise it enought it does do what it says on the packets and it deffo does work. :)

Went to the drs and it is dermatitis. Most likely caused by stress and by the hormone changes due to my ovaries being removed. Have got steroid cream and e45 but am getting dead sea stuff too. Thanks x

It is starting to go although I still have itchy palms. Having to use rubber gloves and moisturise constantly but I think it is getting better now. :)

Spoke too soon! The skin on my palms is now flaking off. I have patches of dry skin all over them and they look horrible. I am using E45 and wearing cotton gloves when I can but it is taking ages to go. I have used scrubs and they haven't worked.
