I was really upset to hear that Ray Davies was shot earlier :(

I've always had a real soft spot for him and think of him as a real British legend. I don't think it's serious, so hopefuly he'll be up and around soon.

I think he did a couple (but it all seems ages ago now!). My personal fave is Lola.

An ex of mine was a real Kinks fan and their music reminds me of my reckless (and distant) youth :) Although he's done loads of stuff since those days.

I was gobsmacked to learn about Ray Davies :o .

He was mates with my dad...if my dad had kept up with him, I would have perhaps been a rock chick kid !!! :lol:

And perhaps with a medal too :unsure: :D
