View Full Version : I saw a chrissey cringle film!
It was called "ELF"...directed by jon favreau, who directed "swingers" which was preddy much an okay film.and it has the guy who was sargent "willnholly" in "jay & silent bob strike back"...in it....he's funny.
ELF is a fun film though to me, not incredibly deep and meaningful but very fun and has a good feel good ending, and has real funny inventive bits too...alot better than i expected...should be on the " get in the mood for christmas" list for next year!!

I've seen the ads on telly for this film, but thought it looked a bit naff. :unsure:

I agree vernon, it was a lot better than i thought it would be...i took my daughter and 2 nephews....
did everyone in the cinema draw in their breath when big Elf saidvery loudly and excitedly to the bookwriter 'you're an ELF!!!'
That was the funniest scene of the film for me especially when the bookwriter lost his rag when big Elf said 'ooohhh, you're an angry elf', and a fight ensued!!!!
well worth getting on DVD when it comes out.... :) :D
hehe...had me in stiches too :P ...and that includes the sharp intake of breath at that point too. :lol:

It was also heartbreaking when he realised hes not a elf :( ;)
