Two teenage jockeys who died in a suspected arson attack at a block of flats could have been innocent victims of a row between neighbours.
Police are investigating reports of a disagreement between friends of the dead jockeys and a man who lives nearby.
The man, who was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent and released on conditional bail, was seen trying to break the door down and rescue the occupants of a flat trapped by a raging fire.
He put a towel over his head to keep out the smoke but was dragged away by police for his own safety.
