HOPE not hate (http://action.hopenothate.org.uk/index.php/content/bnp-wins-seats/)

An interesting site:

Hope not hate is Searchlight's campaign to counter racism and fascism in elections and beyond.

With the election of Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons to the European Parliament, Hope not hate will be stepping up their campaign to fight racism and intolerance throughout the United Kingdon.

The BNP do not represent Britain – they hate everything great about our country. At Searchlight we want to make sure that people know the full story about the BNP. Join the campaign and help stop the BNP.

mmm yes interesting it is  I have come up against Searchlight before and also the BNP - to be honest one is as bad as the other in my humble opinion as both of them promote witch hunts from opposite directions of the political compass.
But thats democracy for you and freedom of speech

These groups are too focused on telling others what they feel is wrong or critisizing oppositions - would far rather follow a party who are focused on the future and positive ways of making things better - if a party is confident in what they can do they dont have time to ******** off the competition, that is why there is no progression now in our limit of parties to vote for!

I don't vote for the BNP but I do think it is wrong to attack them when they try to speak, in exactly the same way it would be wrong to attack any other democratically elected representative. It seems inconsistent to support freedom of speech and democratic elections but only until there is a result you don't agree with.
