O.K. Loal radio station has clues to the Artist....

Got to my clients earlier than expected yesterday so missed the answer grrrrrr!!

Clues I heard were:

3 brothers born to American serving in U.K.

They opened for Elton John and Cat Stevens in 1972

Had album success in 1974 with "Holiday"

Can anyone help????
