I've just started painting again, after a break of 20 years. Would be interested in sharing hints, tips and photo's (if I can work out how to get them on!)

I wish I could paint, the closest I get is using the water colour crayons and then smearig it with a damp brush
I am ok colouring in the lines but sdly I have no talent for free hand :(

I do oil painting - would have really loved to have been an artist (and live in a garret;)) but sadly I wasn't good enough.....so I turned to photography and the rest as the say is history.

Thank you both for your comments I'm very glad you like it. I do enjoy painting, but don't get much chance with a lively five year old. I've only just started again, cos i've now got a little bit of time to myself on Fridays when he is at school! So i rush round and do all the housework in order to indulge myself. trouble is, what with cross stitch, gardening, DIY and card making as well - it's kind of hard to fit everything in - Maybe i could give up work - no that won't work - there's a mortgage to pay too! :(
