Indeed Matthew  .See virtually no TV.....don't know if that makes me sad or not.
Not that I care if the choice is more sad TV  :P

Annabel - I assume we didn't miss anything???
Was it like real Eurovision? - but only worse!! (is that possible ??)
Oh my! :o
You truly missed a spectacle :hihi: .
If you can imagine 'Mini pops' (remember that??!) but on a larger scale...even the backing singers and dancers were kids ! 8-X
Much, much worse than the 'real' Eurovision, but somehow, strangley compelling

:D
It was unbelievable crud. no offence to the kids on the show but it was like a scaled down version of the real thing even the voting went the same way. i was very irritated by some of the backing singers and dancers (too much prancing around, trying a bit too hard, y'know?) and as for their costumes...well...talk about a riot of polyester!!! thank goodness nobody lit a match, the whole lot would have gone up in a flash!
croatia won in the end, a very odd little lad whose head wobbled alarmingly in time to the clunking noises in the 'music'...apparently he is a big star in his homeland.
needless to say my daughter thought it was great!!!! she was very miffed at me rolling about laughing my socks off at it!!
Blue Cow -
With hindsight, a large bottle of red would have gone down perfect with it!!! :wine:
I agree about the polyester!!! Very chaffing indeed and highly flammable :hihi:
It was weird though, the top three ''artists'' (uses the term loosely.. ) were all soloist boys.
I just know I'll be looking out for it next year (Shame on me  ) - that is as long as ITV doesn't back out!
It's going to be in Manchester, so we must do our country proud and support this flagship event  .
:D
