Car problem

Ok I don't where this should be placed but I need a bit of help with my car. Mods please move it to a more relevant section if needs be:)

The drivers door won't open from the inside and I want to know what could be wrong and more importantly how to fix it...anyone a machanic and can give step by step guides?

I am not happy to put my car details in the public view but will do so via PM.

It sounds like your door handle mechanism inside has broken/collapsed. Have you tried asking your local garage to have a quick look without doing anything to it?

thanks for your reply, had some replies from other forums and today I shall have a go at taking the door panel off and see what I see
