Has anyone got an icecream maker? I am mulling over whether to get one....
are they any good?
Oooh, do you know, I bought one years ago because it was in a sale and I have never used it :rolleyes:
I was only thinking about it recently so might dig it out and give it a go, but to answer your question, no, I have never actually used one ^_^

A bit like a breadmaker then :lol:Now I am quite partial to bread I have made myself!
I've got one somewhere its a icecream dessert maker, by that woman who's name escapes me( she has been about for ages, does all the diets, god whats her name:rolleyes:) anyway i have a unused one:D
I had an ice cream maker and it was fun for about two weeks.
It was a pain in the butt in the end the 'bowl' needed to be kept frozen in the freezer until you want to make the ice cream and I found it took up too much space in there. So I stopped using it and gave it to a charity shop  .
I guess you can get a really expensive on the freezes as you make it, that might be ok  .
Anyway, Sainsbury's does such great deals on their own make cornettos, it works out way cheaper and convenient!!
