Ive written a letter on Microsoft word - when I printed it off it was across the page so ive fiddled about and switched it from landscape to portrait.
But now when I print it off its all right up to the right hand side of the page  with a huge space on the left - how do I move the letter across the page so it "sits" right on the page when I print it? I cant remember for the life of me how to do it  and Ive printed it off a dozen times and Im ready to scream!
Thankyou :)

You still have the letter as a document can you not go back into the file and look at a print preview before printing will that change the settings back ?
Is it printed as a word doc or as a template doc?

Try printing from your printer settings and not the doc settings
instead of just clicking on the print icon ,right click on file until print comes up and then scroll down and your printer settings will come up you should be able to fiddle with them then until it looks right.
HIya Sparrow
If that does not work look at your margin settings.
Go into file and page set up click the tab that says margins they should be:
Top 2.54 cm
Bottom 2.54 cm
Right 3.17 cm
Left 3.17 cm
Gutter 0 cm
Header 1.25 cm
Footer 1.25 cm
Then check that your paper size is A4, but clikcing on the tab that says paper size if that does not work come back and I will have another think.:D
