Hi,
Just wondered if anyone has any songs which keeps you going when things a bit tough, rough etc.

cheers me up no end and you can whistle it all day long because it gets stuck in your head......in fact I wish I hadnt of mentioned it because my brain is now whistleing to it...de dum de dum dee dum dum tee dum!!
This is such a naff song, but 'Things can only get better' by D:Ream often pops up in my head when times are tough :( :) .

Haven't a clue who it's by, but the chorus line goes:

Hey! That's the one Beth! I only know the chorus though! I can sing it all now ~ it's the chorus that contains the words of wisdom though. :D :rolleyes:

Well, he just hijacked it! It's not even a song that I particularly like even! :lol:
I also had this song pop up once when I was a little bit ''in between homes'' many years ago:
'The only way is up' by Yazz & the Plastic Population.
There's a line in it that said: 'If you should be evicted from your home, then move somewhere else and still carry on..'' It was spot on at the time and now I look back and smile a wry smile about it ;) .

melanie, that song strikes a chord with me too. i dont normally like christina aguilera, but that is a good un. it came out just when we in the throes of moving from our house , and it was in my head constantly.
