Hello everyone

Im having a few problems with my PC .

I have just done a upgrade, ive changed the motherboard and got all new parts for it.

I put it all together yesterday and powered it up, im not getting any signal to my monitor at all.

When i did this in the past when you power up you should get a bois set up screen.
All im getting is a no video input from my monitor.

I had to upgrade as my pc over heated i think(as the CPU burnt my finger when i felt it)as it went off when running a programme.

If this is the case could anyone tell me if it would have caused damage to the DDR RAM, thus making this the problem with the new set up as im using the same RAM sticks.

Thanks Sparrow

All i wanted to do was fix it.

Now im using an old spare PC which is a bit slow.

Its only got a 1.6 P4 CPU and the new board has a P4 3.6 much faster.

Got you again:lol:

read your post properly this time . yeah it sounds like it could be the memory. are you sure the memory is compatible with the new mobo?

I was thinking that BM.

The Ram that i have is almost new only 3 months old, but as you say it might not be compatable.

Ive given up now and sent it back for testing just incase it is something else.

If it comes back with a nothing wrong answer, it must be the RAM i put in.

I cant see it being anything else as it is all new.
