In a zero-tolerance blitz on anti-social behaviour by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, a drug addict has been evicted from his council property for his 'hell-raising' antics and illegally subletting his bedroom to two Eastern Europeans.

According to LBHF, Terry Le'Mon of Norland House, Shepherds Bush made life a misery for his neighbours.

They were repeatedly woken up by the 34 year-old and his 'druggie' mates and some ground floor residents were even disturbed in the middle of the night by people banging on the windows demanding to be let in.

Residents were also verbally abused and threatened by Le'Mon and his cohorts. Inside the flat was evidence of hard drug use and Le'Mon even had the cheek to illegally rent out his bedroom.

Councillor Greg Smith, Cabinet Member for Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour said: "This kind of behaviour disgusts me. How dare Le'Mon think he can get away with this appalling skulduggery.
"The council will not just sit back and let good-for-nothing rascals like him wreak havoc in our neighbourhoods. Law-abiding residents expect us to protect them. Good riddance to Le'Mon."

Councillor Adronie Alford, Cabinet Member for Housing, said: "I am appalled by this person's actions and feel terribly sorry for the poor people who had to put up with his behaviour day and night. All council tenants have a right to feel safe and secure in their homes and we will not tolerate such disrespect."

Eviction was taken as a last resort by H&F. The council tried to contact Le'Mon on numerous occasions to ensure that he understood his responsibilities.

All attempts at initial contact failed so he was left written warnings of what would happen to the tenancy, if breaches were made on the agreement.

As more and more complaints were received, further attempts to make contact with Le'Mon were made and the police were alerted straight away.

The police were able to obtain a Closure Order and the property was sealed with a metal door. The council began possession proceedings and was granted a Possession Order.
