A "neighbour-from-hell" accused of making South Hackney residents' lives a misery has been slapped with an Asbo.
Andrew Baldwin, 43, of Hartlake Road, was given the order when he appeared at Thames magistrates' court on Thursday.
The Asbo bans Baldwin from threatening, abusing, or harassing anybody in the borough.
It also bars him from approaching people looking to sell or buy drugs, or entering any flat where illegal drugs are being sold.
The order will last three years and if Baldwin breaches the Asbo, he could face up to five years in jail.
Officers from Hackney police told magistrates Baldwin's bad behaviour dates back three years.
He was accused of begging for money, offering to sell drugs, and frequenting with drug users.
Insp Richard Munns said: "We will continue to challenge anti-social behaviour, however it presents itself, to ensure that the residents of Hackney can go about their business without fear of being intimidated.
