anybody seen it?

i'm not a huge movie goer but i'd seen trailers for this film and checked out the preview online and i thought it looked good.

well it was... disappointing :(

Will Smith was good, i like him anyway, and the effects were what you'd expect but the film had no guts  it had a good beginning, felt like it was leading up to a middle and then just ended . i'd been told that it was 28 days later-ish but imo 28 days later was much better

very disappointed indeed :(

We were going to go and see this but haven't had time to, so I think we'll wait for the dvd now. I heard it is very scary in places :wow: Shame if it does not live up to all the hype though :(
I really enjoyed 28 days later :D so would be disapointed if it isn't at least as good :(

SP, it wasn't very scary  it made me jump once. honestly, if you liked 28 days later then you will be disappointed with this one. it spends 75 minutes building up to a c*ap ending. i ended up feeling cheated. apparently the original 1954 film was very good and the synopsis for the book sounds pretty good. i think i'll get the book

I totally agree.

We went on Tuesday and we had seen trailers which made us think this will be an excellent film.

It was very disappointing and I almost came out of the cinema feeling cheated!

The dog was the best thing in the film!

A very uninspiring ending too. Mr T and I thought of some much better endings on the way home!

Haven't seen it, but did yawn through the Omega Man with Charlton Heston in the Will Smith role. It's a good book, and an interesting idea though perhaps a bit chattery in places.

They waited too long to remake this one, 28 days & 28 weeks got there first & have done it better. Will Smith is not the right person for the part anyway.

Saw this over the weekend :)
Wasn't sure what to expect as I have heard such varying reviews

I really enjoyed it though, more than I thought, but have to agree that 28 Days Later is the better film

I also agree about the ending too - it didn't seem to finish properly and left me asking questions, but still very watchable IMO :)
