Has anyone tried the Activia Challenge?
For those of us ladies who feel bloated, apparently 14 days of one a day Activia yogurt will help our digestive tract. I've just finished it and I have to say when I first started them I had the most awful tummy pains.:(
I don't know why, it could have just been a coincidence.
I have to say I do feel less bloated,:) but I'm not sure of the benefit of eating them long term.
Has any one else had experience of them?
Eeyores mam used to eat Activia all the time, and she felt better for eating it
BUT, she then found a finger nail in an activia, so has never eaten one since, yes she got vouchers from Danone but somehow, it's not the same, finding an added extra in your yoghurt
yuck!!! that is nasty, not surprised she has been put off them

I don't think I'll be having anymore :( - to be honest I think any good natural yogurt would do the trick.

I have actually bought some this week - bought havent started them yet! Not sure I want to now reading about the tummy pain and the finger nail
Ive tried them and the little drinks yakult not sure if they made a difference or not really i find crystalised ginger is good for easing a bloated feeling and upset tums well it works for me anyway ;)
The Activia yogurts, I found were very beneficial. Actually any pro-biotic yogurt seems to be good. (Asda does an acceptable one, much cheaper)
The little drink things didn't do anything for me apart from dent my bank balance, but certainly the yogurt is good :) .
I also think that just plain live yogurt would do the same job - if you can eat it! Must admit, I need the fruit and sugar added to be able to consume it! :D
Not wanting to tempt fate, but since I've been eating quite a lot of yogurt, I have not had a cold or cough whereas I would have certainly had one by now. A third (or is it 2 thirds...) of your immune system is in the bowel, so it makes sense to keep it all moving, so to speak! .

I try to have 2 probiotic yogurts a day. The Danone did work until the bonus in the pot when I went for the Muller and they are ok as well. I do feel bloated if I do not have any for a day or two but then I have to have Lindt truffles as well every day so possibly the Lindt is bringing on the bloated feeling and the probiotics are counteracting the effects of the Lindt.
As I can`t give up the Lindt I will keep taking the Muller yogurts.
 @ Eeyores mam!! That's a good enuff reason to keep going!

I put muesli in natural yogurt then leave it to stand for 10 minutes and that is good.Apparently that's the swiss way of eating it except they leave it overnight:lol:
