Are you a Media Representative and wish to place a request or advert in this section at NFHiB?
Hello to everyone who is here, at the NFHiB Forum Community, to ask for help or input with stories or features for television, radio or local and national magazines or newspapers. :)
We would be happy to display your request for all members to see after we have first checked the suitability of your media request and to ensure it is appropriate. NFHiB members may then respond to you directly, if they wish, via the contact details you place in your message.
To do, please post your new thread in this area (http://www.nfh.org.uk/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=27) (you must first make sure you register at NFHiB (http://www.nfh.org.uk/forums/register.php)) and please remember to follow the format below (unfortunately we cannot authorise incomplete requests) :
Your Name:
Your Position (e.g. Researcher, Producer, etc):
Your Company/Organisation and who you represent*:
(*These are sometimes different and to ensure your request is from a genuine source, we need to ask you these details).
Your Media Request (include all details & remember to be specific to help get the best response):
Your Contact Details (e.g. telephone, e-mail, postal address, preferred contact times, etc):
When you have created your new topic with the above information we will be able to authorise your request to be displayed in this folder area to all NFHiB members (this can take between 24 - 72 hours in busy periods).
Other Important information for all media representatives or media members:
NFHiB Members will choose themselves if they wish to read this folder and also if they reply to your message or request. Members will contact you directly where they are interested in learning more of your media request.
Please do not take it personally if no one responds to you; it is possible that people do not wish to advertise their neighbour-orientated problems or are currently going through a legal process which could be affected if their situation was told or discussed in public.
We ask you to take note of the following:
Please do not add your media requests in member's personal threads as this can make members feel uncomfortable. Where this might happen, we will remove such posts without notice.
Please do not contact members via the PM (Personal Message) or the NFHiB e-mail system as again this can make members feel awkward and infringe on their privacy. We will also class this as 'spam' (e.g. 'unsolicited contact').
Please do not 'bulk' PM or e-mail individuals or groups either. NFHiB Members will consider this as being spammed and we will not tolerate 'spamming' of any nature.
Please post your media request directly for approval in this area and do not PM any of the NFHiB Support Team with your request.
We would also advise you to read the NFHiB Forum Guidelines (http://www.nfh.org.uk/forums/faq.php) as these contain useful and applicable information. We wish you all the best of luck and success with your ongoing media projects and work. :)
