The first, 11 Housemates enter tonight!
Here are the first 11 runners, riders and contenders for this year's Big Brother (8) during the Summer of 2007!

Amanda

Amanda is twin sister to Sam who both describe themselves as "twincredible". Five minutes younger than her sister, Amanda is the more dominant of the pair, but is no less addicted to boys, partying, shopping and all things pink and fluffy. They both say "If there's only one fit boy in the house we'll share him, definitely!"
Charley

A self-proclaimed 'it' girl, Charley likes shopping, money and going clubbing at celebrity hangouts. A sleep-walker and talker, Charley is not a morning person. She admits to losing her temper easily and has to bite her tongue quite often. She has a phobia of spiders, is dreading the imminent smoking ban and also believes in ghosts.
Lesley - WALKED OUT

Intelligent Lesley has had an eventful life. She ran a successful recruitment business for 20 years, worked as a Cambridge don and set up a marriage agency for divorcees. Claiming to be friendly with royalty, Lesley is also a 'young' member of the WI, loves visiting country houses, thinks Ricky Gervais is fantastic and doesn't like music. Full stop.
Sam

Even so, she shares an addiction to boys, partying, shopping and all things pink and fluffy, just like Sam. They have their own 'Twin Song' they sing when they introduce themselves to boys.

Raver Tracey is a peacemaker who can't remember ever losing her temper. She knows everyone in her village, has never been on a plane and has never switched on a computer. She avoids anger at all costs and is a party-loving, peace-loving, self-confessed "cheesy quaver!"

Fashionable drama student, Emily is an indie chick with the heart of a middle-class politician who has no time for those who don't live up to her high standards. She'd like to write for Vogue, having given up her dream of becoming a fashion designer because she can't sew. She's hoping to find a gorgeous indie rocker man in the house.

Bubbly Laura is an absolute chatterbox who'll talk to anyone. She's not too keen on drinking alcohol and prefers drinking squash as it makes for a cheaper night out. Laura admits her nickname is 'Wangers' because of her large breasts. She also has an obsession with embalming and would like to make a career of it one day.
Shabnam - EVICTED! (15th June 2007)

A self-confessed 'princess', hyperactive Shabnam loves to talk, talk, talk. She's had an endless list of jobs being "far too creative to be tied down to mundane work". She thinks she might irritate her housemates with her boundless energy and zest for life.
Carole

Carole is a self-confessed political protestor with a big heart. From Greenham Common to anti-war rallies, she's passionate about her beliefs and is extremely positive about life. She doesn't suffer fools and is always happy to say exactly what is on her mind "I'm gonna shake it something rotten!"
Nicky

Gobby and argumentative, Nicky speaks her mind at all times. A girl's girl, it takes her up to four hours to get ready for a night out, and she definitely isn't someone to mess with. "If people ignore me, I'll release my inner **********!" She thinks love is "for losers" and she really hates men - "nasty little creatures".

Chanelle has an obsession with a certain celebrity wife and pop star. We'll leave you to guess who that is. She doesn't watch the news because "there's too much bad stuff going on in the world".

Ziggy is a fashion conscious ex-model and ex-boyband member. Despite his good looks he considers himself a down to earth guy and feels strongly about cruelty to animals. Ziggy's dream job is to work for Hugh Hefner, but he has just finished training as a broker. He is proud of his boyband days and enjoyed writing their hits and still writes in his spare time. If he could make a law it would for there to be a National Short Skirt Day and he is definitely up for romance in the House.

Gerry is an antiquity-loving, gallery researcher who describes himself as a hedonistic hypocrite and a total control freak. Once a month he goes to fetish clubs and loves leather, kilts and boots. He has four wardrobes full of clothes, and thinks his life would be vastly improved by a dressing room and a personal butler.
Seány - EVICTED! (22nd June 2007)

Livewire Seány says he was popular at school but missed out on being a head pupil as the teachers thought it would go to his head. In his late teens he went to the White House to meet Hilary Clinton, for whom he had written a poem. He says his dream job would be inventing and testing new toys, and describes himself as having big hair and big attitude. Seány's guilty secret is that he loves Girls Aloud and admits he is heavy handed with the amount of toilet roll he uses.

Billi is a successful model with a passion for WWE wrestling. His worst fear includes waking up with a shaved head. He says that "gorgeous girls, money and attention" make him happy. He is confident, admits to being vain and says looking out for himself is number one. He enjoys going to the gym and plays football regularly.

Brian is a self confessed 'Jack the lad' who likes to dabble in a spot of cosmic ordering. He reckons he can self-hypnotize and deals with boredom by "talking to my imaginary hot girls". Brian would like to think of himself as a wild child, but the thought of leaving home for university scares him. He's a leader rather than a follower and an "original party boy with lots of sex appeal".
